The Al-Qur'an Reading Monitoring for the 80 Times Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony for Members of the Mukim and Kampung Consultative Councils and Students Nationwide in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 80th Birthday Celebration was held at selected mosques in each district, 11th June afternoon.

In Brunei Muara District, it was held at Jame 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Kampung Kiarong. Present Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.

Meanwhile, the focal point in Belait District was at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque. In attendance was Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In Tutong District, it took place at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town. Among those present was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Whereas in Temburong District, it was held at Utama Muhammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town. Present, Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance, Prime Minister's Office.
